Gladys Reynell was a member of the famous South Australian family which established Reynella Winery, but it was her significant artistic contributions for which she is remembered. Reynell was South Australia’s first studio potter and was among the first to introduce Europe’s Modernist ethos into Australian craft. This exhibition, which will be the first retrospective of her work, will present her pottery, paintings, linocuts and sketches and is timed to mark the 50th anniversary of her death.
