This latest body of work is about all this. Memories and feelings about the ever changing and ethereal horizon and the sense of possibility it arouses. The horizon is an intangible concept, an illusion. It will lead us onwards but forever evade us. And on the eve of a new adventure, a six month studio residency in Umbria, Italy I can’t help but wonder once again what is over the horizon. Katherine is currently in Italy to further her study of landscape painting.
