Presented in partnership with dLux media arts, this work combines four screens and five cycles of interactive, digital video and sound, this installation evokes the centrality and significance of ‘country’ for four Gamilaraay women. Visual and sound cycles gently segue into one another with images referencing childhood memories, laughter and games, natural phenomena, Indigenous space, and intermittent reflections on various subjects including Indigenous language loss and retrieval.
