A Newcastle Region Art Gallery touring exhibition. In recent years Newcastle Region Art Gallery has developed a bold contemporary art collection. Strange Cargo is a touring exhibition curated from the Gallery’s collection that showcases the engaging and often bewildering nature of contemporary art in Australia. Launched in Newcastle, then touring to Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery, Bendigo Art Gallery, Orange Regional Gallery, Wagga Wagga Art Gallery and Tweed River Regional Gallery.
