The autobiographical pictorial statement of a short chapter of Anthony Edwards’ artistic life. Edwards who graduated from JCU in 2000 is well known as a curator and practitioner, but here he throws light onto the dark side of the art world. In this painting exhibition we see the Townsville city precinct revealed as a liminal zone, the metaphor of a moth drawn to a light best defines the struggles that the artist experiences whilst developing a mature style.
