A student exhibition. Features the work of young artists who have completed Studio Arts and/or Art for their Victorian Certificate of Education. Now in its thirteenth year, Top Arts: VCE 2006 will feature 51 artists and more than 60 works on display by a range of secondary school students from government and non-government schools from metropolitan and regional areas of Victoria, Australia. Drawing on a range of experiences for inspiration, students have focused on themes as varied as relationships, identity, emotions, body image, the urban landscape, and life pressures. Top Arts highlights the NGV’s commitment and support of contemporary art and arts education.
