Works by modern masters such as Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, Roy Lichtenstein and Jeff Koons will be the centrepieces of the exhibition Guggenheim Collection: 1940s to now New York – Venice – Bilbao – Berlin.

It will be the first time that the internationally renowned Guggenheim collections are shown in Melbourne and the exhibition will include more than 100 works by 68 artists, from 18 different nationalities. Works will be drawn mainly from the Guggenheim Museum in New York but will also include major works from other Guggenheim collections in Venice, Bilbao and Berlin.
