This significant Indigenous artist has been involved in painting as part of ceremony all of his life. His paintings combine ancestral Dreamings with historical narratives about his people living and working on the land in the north-east Kimberley region of Western Australia. Paddy’s work is marked by sparse lines and large expanses of delicate ochre colours. This is the first time a comprehensive survey of his work has been seen in Australia and internationally.
