Neil Haddon's work begins with pictures of local dramas and small events. His paintings are then broken free from their original narrative - their anchors. On big black glossy panels partially abraded using a sander, the difference in lustre, between glistering enamel and matt flatness is striking or subtle, depending on the angle of view. Neil's exhibition also includes works on paper from his Counter Image series.
